Prof. Goldschmidt ist seit Juli 2005 Leiter der Sektion Multiples Myelom der Medizinischen Klinik V und des Nationalen Centrums für Tumorerkrankungen. Schwerpunkt seines wissenschaftlichen Interesses ist die Optimierung der Diagnostik und Therapie des Multiplen Myeloms.
