Disease Control

This is a departmental multidisciplinary working group consisting of specialists working in different areas relevant to disease control in developing countries (e.g. parasitology, epidemiology, paediatrics, reproductive health, anthropology, health economics).

All group members are working on projects in partnership with colleagues from a number of countries mainly situated in the south (e. g. Burkina Faso, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, China).

The aim of the group is to collaborate on relevant projects to improve health through applied disease control measures in disadvantaged populations of respective partner countries.
