Kurzbiographie
Prof. Michel Wensing, Ph.D. is scientific advisor, working part time at the department since 2002. He did a Habilitation at the Medical Faculty Heidelberg in 2010. Since 2011 he is a Professor of implementation science at the Institute for Quality in Healthcare (IQ Healthcare) at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, The Netherlands. After M.Sc. In sociology (1991, cum laude (which is the highest grade in the Netherlands) and Ph.D. (1997), he focused his research on quality improvement in primary care. This research included cluster randomized trials of interventions to implement clinical guidelines; internationally comparitive studies of patient experiences in general practice and practice management; and studies of quality improvement in various primary care professions. The results of the research have been documented in about 200 publications, 20 Ph.D. theses, and a comprehensive book on implementation science.
