Participation in the 4th Heidelberg International Symposium on Diabetic Complications 2017 is free of charge - free registration is required though:

Abstracts will be chosen for Oral (Short Talk) AND/OR Poster presentation by the Program Committee.

Authors will be notified, if their abstract is selected for a short talk and/or a poster presentation.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts are in English
  • Each author can be listed ONLY ONCE as the PRESENTING author
  • Abstracts should not exceed 4.000 characters (incl. spaces)
  • Abstract title is limited to 150 characters (incl. spaces)
  • Abstracts must include the following sections: Background and Aims, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  • Upload of one graphic file is allowed (one table OR one graph)

Format Specifications

  • Abstract title in upper- and lowercase
    Font: Arial Narrow 14 pt. bold
  • Author’s names should be first initial and last (surname) name only. (i.e. J. Test). Please ensure that the presenting author’s name is underlined,
    Font: Arrial Narrow 12 pt. bold, presenting author underlined
    Example: J. Test1 / S. Sample2)

  • Text Body: The maximum length is 4.000 characters (including spaces), and should  include the following sections: Background and Aims, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions

Please note: It is mandatory that the presenting author of any abstract accepted for presentation attends the HiDC 2017 to present his / her abstract.

Poster guidelines

  • Poster should have DIN A01 portrait format: 594 x 841mm /  23.3 x 33.1 Inch
