The nationwide digitization initiative in the healthcare sector is changing many processes in everyday clinical practice, many of which are relevant to account settlement. These processes often involve treatment with pharmaceuticals, require new interfaces as well as media support, and must be interoperable. We develop the necessary software products, e. g., for electronic prescription writing or discharge management, pilot them in everyday clinical practice with future users, and optimize them in iterative processes. Depending on requirements, these products can then be certified by the relevant authorities.
