Patient Council

of the Neurological University Hospital Heidelberg

In order to further develop the quality of care and patient-centred research in our hospital, we would like to better understand the perspective of our patients and their relatives and integrate it more strongly into everyday clinical practice. In many other countries, a patient council is already being used successfully as a means of dialogue between patients, relatives and hospital staff. We are now one of the first hospitals in Germany to try this and have established a patient council in neurology since January 2019. Our aim is to have a better dialogue with our patients in order to improve our patient care and research.

You can find more information on the tasks and objectives of the Patient Council in our flyer .

If you are interested in participating in our Patient Council or have any questions, please feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone (see below).
