Doctoral Student Representatives

If you have questions about the academic, social, or general experience of being a doctoral student at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health or Heidelberg University, please feel free to reach out to our doctoral student representatives.

Meet the Doctoral Students representatives

We, Lisa, Mawada, and Maresa, are the current Doctoral Students representatives at HIGH. As Doctoral Students reps we are the link between Doctoral Students and faculty working in parallel with the existing offers such as the monthly journal club and brownbag seminar. Through the organisation of a variety of activities we aim to create a supportive community among us doctoral candidates at HIGH to connect and share experiences.

Currently, we coordinate a monthly social get-together, held every second Tuesday of the month. We will soon relaunch the monthly writing club and have more activities in the pipeline.

Please feel free to reach out to us for support, share ideas, or discuss any concerns via doc.rep@uni-heidelberg.de
