Jamila Nabieva

Jamila Nabieva is a public health practitioner with the focus on international development and cooperation and over 10 years of working experiences for international development agencies such as EU, GIZ, UNFPA, WB, SDC, WHO in her home country Tajikistan and internationally. After completing her MSc in International Health at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health in 2014, her professional focus has gradually shifted from Mother and Child Care, HIV/AIDS and Drug abuse among youth to health research and publication. Between 2014 and 2017, Jamila worked as a managing editor of the WHO EURO health journal “Public health panorama”. In 2018 Jamila joined the Teaching Unit of the Institute where she is mainly involved in capacity building activities outside of Germany and international cooperation projects coordinated by the Teaching Unit.
