Mubarak Sulola, MSc.

Doctoral researcher

Mubarak has been a member of the Global Aging working group since January 2026. His research interests lie in the intersection of development economics and global health, focusing on improving health outcomes, health technology adoption, nutrition, care access and health system performance for healthy aging. 

Prior to joining the group, Mubarak previously worked as a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Göttingen, as well as an analyst at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH), and at Samsung Electronics. He is a member of the Global Health Hub Germany, Chatham House CFC, and a former Don Lavoie fellow at the Mercatus Center.
