Frithjof is a physicist, medical doctor, and global health researcher with a multidisciplinary background spanning physics, biomedical engineering, and medicine. His research focuses on infectious disease dynamics, particularly the spread of HPV and strategies for cervical cancer prevention in low-resource settings. He combines computational and mathematical approaches with qualitative and field-based research to inform evidence-based interventions in low- and middle-income countries. His current interests include decentralized and ethical artificial intelligence systems to advance data sovereignty and equitable digital health infrastructures.
