Stroke

A stroke causes sudden brain dysfunction either due to a disruption in the blood supply (cerebral infarction) or due to blood escaping into the brain tissue (cerebral hemorrhage). Common symptoms include unilateral paralysis or sensory disturbances, speech disorders, language disorders, visual disturbances, and double vision.
