"As radiologists, we focus on the entire patient with her/his individual needs and characteristics. Diseases are not uniform and depict in many different efflorescences in different anatomic areas of the body. Therefore radiologists have to combine their professional competence with analytical skills and profound scientific knowledge for emerging a precise diagnosis.
As a constant challenge, new technological developments must be evaluated and implemented into daily clinical practice. They allow us to improve our imaging skills to provide earlier and more specific diagnosis for the benefit of our patients.
For me, radiology is a very innovative, exciting and challenging discipline in medicine."
