Brief description: POLAR CORD is a joint project in which a large part of the German university hospitals of the four consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) are involved. The goal of the project is to contribute to the detection of health risks in patients with polymedication using methods and processes of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII).

Our tasks here are the collection and provision of the most valid data possible on medications at the UKHD for the joint project of the MII as well as the validation of algorithms for the classification of high-risk medications and Potentially Inadequate Medication (PIM) that can be used to improve medication safety. https://www.medizininformatik-initiative.de/index.php/de/POLAR
