Fellowships for Individual Doctoral Training funded through the "Landesgraduiertenförderung" (LGFG)

This scholarship promotes medical doctors who have completed their training at the university and wish to perform a doctoral thesis in one of the scientific areas of IVCRC. Apart from outstanding qualifications we expect high motivation, initiative, the ability to work in a team and reliability. Previous experience in the field of ophthalmology will be considered advantageous with regards to your application but are not mandatory.

The funding period can be determined and extended individually according to the university´s requirements. The funding rates are defined by the university and depend on the particular project and the applicant´s qualification.
