Summary

In order to improve the quality of medical education, the project aims to improve clinical-practical skills in the areas of interviewing and personality diagnosis in psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders. It is planned to set up a video library with clinical interviews of patients  with various disorders (mental disorders and somatic diseases). Several instructive videos will be produced in which (based on real cases) experienced doctors/therapists will conduct a diagnostic interview with actor patients. These interviews will be conducted according to the OPD interview manual. Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnostics (OPD) is a diagnostic system for the assessment of complex motivational and psychological characteristics, which was also developed in Heidelberg and has already been used in German-speaking countries for almost 30 years.

These videos may be used in medical, psychological and psychotherapeutic teaching of any level.
