Affected parties
If you suspect an acute stroke, please call 112 immediately!
A stroke is a medical emergency. Only rapid treatment can minimise or completely prevent permanent damage. Please do not wait for your family doctor or the medical on-call service to be available. The 116 117 telephone number only connects you to an on-call medical service and should NOT be called in an emergency. The first signs of a stroke can be recognised with the F-A-S-T test.
If you think you might be experiencing a stroke, please call 112 immediately! A stroke is a medical emergency. You can recognise the first signs of stroke by doing the F-A-S-T Test.
Medical staff and emergency services
Emergency services and medical staff can call the FAST telephone number for urgent clinical questions or consultations on the acute treatment of specific stroke patients. This will connect you directly to our neurological specialists on duty. The FAST telephone number is communicated directly to the FAST centres, but can also be obtained from our care coordinator.
