“Phenomenology of visual experience based on works of the Prinzhorn Collection“ – this topic engaged the participants of the eponymous conference that took place in the library of the Clinic of General Psychiatry of Heidelberg University as well as in the Prinzhorn Collection on May 3 and 4, 2012. A selection of lectures and guest contributions held at the conference can be found in the resulting anthology (see below). Subject of the investigations and the joint image review were works of the Prinzhorn Collection, followed by methodological considerations on visual experience in general. The conference was supported by the Volkswagen Foundation.
