Dear medical students,

Our courses deal with the role of psychological and social factors in medicine. The main focus here is on

biopsychosocial influences on health
psychological development in the course of life
doctor-patient interaction
methodological principles of medical psychology/sociology.

This content is covered in various teaching formats (lectures, seminars, courses, elective tracks) and is presented in the lecture using a "drama family", i.e. standard patients who represent different age stages of psychological development in interaction with clinicians (see here).
