Laboratory of the Institute of Medical Psychology
In our modern wet laboratory we offer the analysis of the following parameters from blood and/or saliva samples:
- Cortisol from saliva via ELISA
- Alpha-amylase from saliva via enzyme kinetics
- Testosterone from blood (ELISA) or saliva (luminescence)
- Progesterone from blood (ELISA) or saliva (luminescence)
- Estradiol from blood (ELISA) or saliva (luminescence)
- Oxytocin from saliva via ELISA
Important note: Hormone analyses are only carried out as part of research projects. Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out analyses for diagnostic or other purposes.
All analyses therefore include standard quality assurance measures such as measurement in duplicate, the repetition of any measured values with unacceptable CVs and the storage of samples at -80°C for the duration of the analyses. We regularly take part in round robin tests for external quality assurance.
In addition to the analyses, we are happy to advise you on methodological and practical aspects from planning and preparation to the actual implementation of the survey and the follow-up of the measurement results.
If you are interested in having laboratory analyses carried out by us, please get in touch with the relevant contact person. We will send you a customised offer based on the information you provide about your project. You can download our request form as a PDF document at the bottom of the page. We look forward to hearing from you!
Our laboratory is registered on the research infrastructure portal RIsources of the German Research Foundation (DFG) (registration number: RI_00583). The registration can be accessed via the following link: https://risources.dfg.de/detail/RI_00583_de.html.
