The logo represents a step that goes beyond the borders and is intended to illustrate the translation from preclinic (substance) to clinic (drug), which is part of the main tasks of paedKliPS.
For a detailed interpretation: one of the capsule feet (below left) represents the preclinical research with the discovery of a substance, the second foot with toes symbolizes a drug that has been tested in clinical trials (as a footprint), the colored toe symbolizes the patient with a rare disease (a focus of our trial center), for which this drug would represent the best therapy option, thus, symbolizing personalized medicine.
