We treat >8,400 inpatients per year on a total of 6 wards with 90 beds in the head clinic. Neurology doctors also look after two outpatient wards at the Bergstrasse District Hospital in Heppenheim and the GRN Clinic in Sinsheim (20 beds), specialising in the treatment of neurovascular diseases.

An interdisciplinary team of doctors and specialised nursing staff provide care and support for our patients and ensure a smooth and interdisciplinary treatment process. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists develop individually tailored treatment concepts for our inpatients. The neurology patient management team coordinates the inpatient admission and discharge of our patients in close consultation with our doctors and nursing staff. The medical documentation team supports and relieves our doctors of documentation tasks in the areas of DRG controlling and outpatient service recording.
