Ward for neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders

Our Neuro 6 ward specialises in treating people with neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders. Located on level 01 of the head clinic, our ward forms a compact unit with a total of 16 beds in double rooms. Our multi-professional team from the fields of medicine, neuropsychology, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services and pastoral care specialises in neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders. Together, we offer you a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic options.

A special feature of our ward is the "Nursing Innovation Room", a pilot project of the hospital in which creative solutions are found for common problems in everyday ward life and work processes on the ward are more patient-centred.

Further information on the ward's clinical specialisations can be found here.

Founded in November 2020, the "Nursing Innovation Space" offers space for innovation and the implementation of the "New Work" approach. Autonomous rota organisation, individual career development and flat hierarchies are among the cornerstones of what we do. We take interprofessional collaboration very seriously and structure our day-to-day work according to the basic pillars of lean management. With a total of 16 beds and a stable nursing team, we offer a personalised atmosphere and can deal with your questions and concerns individually. We are always ready to listen to your wishes and concerns and look forward to making your stay in hospital as pleasant as possible.

"Parkinson's in dialogue" is a public themed forum specially developed for people with Parkinson's disease. The event has three aims: Patient education, self-help and getting to know each other from the interprofessional team at Neuro 6. Four times a year, there is the opportunity here to encounter various real-life topics in the context of the diseases in a well-founded manner in short input presentations. This is followed by the opportunity to discuss symptoms and individual questions in detail in small groups.
