Yu-Rou Tsai is a trained medical doctor from Taiwan with two years of clinical experience in a hospital. She then completed her studies in International Health in Heidelberg and conducted a cost-descriptive study of medications for mental disorders for her master’s thesis. Her primary research interest is mental health, specifically focusing on the right of patients with mental disorders to access mental healthcare. Starting in November 2023, Yu-Rou will join the Health Economics and Health Financing Group at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health as a research assistant, where she will be involved in projects related to mental health prevention and promotion interventions.
