B8: Quantitative modelling, simulation and experimental model validation of processes in stem cell regulation: homing, renewal and differentiation

The specific area of focus is mathematical modelling and analysis of signalling within and among stem cells, with emphasis on proliferation, differentiation and migration into biological niches. Mathematical models will be developed, based on data provided by collaborating biologists. This will contribute to a better understanding and prediction of short- and long-term dynamics of stem cells, in response to various signalling factors.
