Z2: Flow Cytometry Core Unit

The missions of the Z2-project are:
- To provide the consortium with pure and homogeneous stem cell or progenitor preparations of outstanding quality as starting material for all subsequent experiments. This is to be achieved in a flow cytometry core unit with state-of-the-art cell sorting equipment and qualified personnel as part of the consortium.
- To develop innovative protocols for the preparation of stem (progenitor) cells for which flow cytometry-technology has not yet been standardized (e.g. hydra stem cells, drosophila and plant cells).
