Annegret Trettin

Lead Core Facility

Annegret Trettin leads the Science Communication Core Facility at HIGH. She holds a diploma in Languages, Economic and Cultural Studies with a focus on Ibero-American Studies from the University of Passau and has extensive experience in strategic program development and international cooperation. Annegret has previously led regional departments for Latin America and Africa at Baden-Württemberg International and worked on various projects related to education, health, and community development. In addition, she held a leading position as referent for education at the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung, where she oversaw strategic program development and managed multiple educational programs. Her research interests include global science communication, science communication on social media, and barriers to effective science communication.
