Brief description: This project builds on the existing AKTIN emergency admission register (Aktionsbündnis für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie in Intensiv- und Notfallmedizin). In order to be able to further improve the informative value of the data, the AKTIN-EZV project will further develop the daily data delivery to the RKI and the use of the data in addition to a nationwide coverage of emergency departments. Analyses of routine data from the current pandemic will help provide insights into the utilization of central emergency departments. In addition, daily updated data from emergency departments will be continuously provided for epidemiological evaluations in an automated way and COVID-19 specific research questions will be addressed in this process. https://www.netzwerk-universitaetsmedizin.de/projekte/aktin-ezv
