Babak Moazen
Dr. Sc. Hum student
Babak Moazen has graduated in “Master of Science in International Health” from Heidelberg University. Currently he is pursuing his PhD degree at the Institute of Global Health in Heidelberg University. His PhD project aims at estimating the epidemiology of the major infectious diseases and the relevant risk factors, as well as availability and coverage of interventions controlling infections in prisons of the European Union countries. Health behaviors among the marginalized populations including female sex workers, men who have sex with men, drug users and injectors, and prisoners are his fields of interest in research.
