Diletta Parisi
Diletta Parisi is currently a Postdoc Researcher in the Health Economics and Health Financing group which she joined in 2019. She is currently involved in evaluating the implementation of the new state-funded social health insurance scheme In India called “PM-JAY” on households’ financial protection and healthcare providers experiences. She has a background in Economics (MSC) and Development Economics (PhD). During her PhD she had the opportunity to put in practice her skills in quantitative methods collaborating as a consultant for the Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nations (FAO) in Rome and for UNICEF Research Office “Innocenti” based in Florence. Her research interests range from agricultural economics, structural and rural transformation, childhood malnutrition and multidimensional overlapping deprivation analysis, Universal Health Care systems, applied economics and impact evaluations.
