Mtaita, Caroline L.

Doctoral Student
Dr. Caroline Mtaita is a Medical doctor registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Medicine at Hurbert Kairuki Memory University in 2009, and her Masters in Public Health at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in 2015. She has worked with International Medical Technology University as a Medical Doctor & Disease Surveillance Coordinator, and a Medical Manager with African Risk Insurance Limited by providing value addition through specialized medical services to clients. She later joined Christian Social Service Commission as a Medical manager overseeing health problems related to gender issues, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and family planning. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Global Health policies and systems work group, working on Gender based violence among adolescent girls and young women in Tanzania.
