Alfonso's background includes international business, management, social sciences and public health. His expertise is focused on micro-costing studies and the economic evaluation of new interventions in the health care field. For his PhD thesis, he is currently working on an economic evaluation of clinical pathways for robotic colorectal surgery in Germany.
