Johanna Kröger is a medical student and doctoral candidate with a keen interest in the social and political determinants of health and in promoting health equity. She has pursued her passion for these areas through research stays at IS Global in Barcelona, Spain, and McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, where she focused on planetary health and global health policy. At HIGH, Johanna is conducting quantitative research that examines the impact of educational policies on women's sexual and reproductive health in South Africa.
