Maresa Neuerer
Dr. sc. hum. candidate
Maresa brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work, drawing on her background in Social and Cultural Anthropology, Geography, and Global Health. She is a member of the Implementation Research for Prevention and Disease Control Working Group. Her PhD investigates antimicrobial resistance in Ghana and Burkina Faso from a One Health perspective, incorporating participatory and design thinking approaches. She is particularly interested in implementation research and prioritises equitable community engagement, using creative methods to enhance research relevance and dissemination. She additionally contributes to projects on digital health interventions in the field of skin neglected tropical diseases.
