9th CELL-THERAPY SYMPOSIUM

DEAR COLLEAGUES,

A year has passed since the last Cell-Therapy Symposium took place. Within this brief period of time, tremendous progress has been made at our clinic with view to CAR T-cell therapy: More than 350 patients have received this leadingedge treatment at our medical center. 

Across the globe, more than 50,000 patients have undergone remarkably successful treatment regimens for acute leukemia, Non-Hodgin’s lymphoma, as well as for myeloma. In light of this substantial track record, current therapeutical algorithms applied to tackle these diseases need to be revisited. 

This symposium is meant to put special emphasis on an in-depth comparison of bispecific antibodies and CAR-T cells; in conjunction with a survey of novel TCR-T-cell therapies directed at solid tumors.

Both the ongoing exploration and identification of novel targets, as well as the preclinical research necessary to further the development of immunogenic therapies will be overarching themes of our scientific discussion.
