Project & office management
Elke is responsible for project -, financial- and office management of the Research Groups “Climate Smart Health Systems” and “Climate Change, Nutrition and Health” and she is the Administrative Coordinator of the DFG-Research Unit “Climate Change and Health in sub-Saharan Africa” (https://www.cch-africa.de/).
Elke is trained in international business administration. She joined HIGH in 2001. She has many years of experience in the field of research management, also from her former employment at the German Cancer Research Centre’s Grants Office and from managing the Graduate School Epidemiology at Heidelberg University from 2002-2011. She is proficient in German, English, French and Dutch and did advanced training in the field of legal aspects of international cooperation, project management and intercultural studies.
